Music is definitely a good way to kill the saudades. That and a steaming plate of beans and rice. Always does the trick for me.

Hey….kinda sorta have a more poetry like post over at the Den. Wrote it in 5 minutes so be kind. Wish I could discipline myself enough to sit down and write more, but fazer o que?

Wanted to recommend a blog to you that I really enjoy. It’s a rather indelicate description of New York life by HoboBob, previously featured on This American Life when he was living and writing homeless on the streets. Anyway, he’s pretty heavy into the poetry scene in the city, and a rather entertaining read.
